Yes! When you become a member of Pet Sitters of Gainesville, we will schedule a meet and greet consultation with one of our pet care specialists. The Meet & Greet provides the perfect opportunity to get to know you, your pet and needs so that we can provide the best service possible.

Do you require a set of keys to my home?

 We require two sets of keys from every pet sitting and/or dog walking client or a Lockbox One set of keys is for your dedicated pet sitter and the other set is to be held in our office for emergencies or lockouts. We are fully insured and bonded to keep the safety of your pet and home at all times.

Tell me about your hiring process of the pet sitter

Every Team member in our business is a pet care professional. We work with a small team of individuals who have practical experience in the pet care field and have genuine love for animals.

Can you give my pet medication?

All our sitters can give oral medications to most pets. We also offer Pet transportation to the vet.

Do you offer pet boarding?

We believe that pets are at their best when they are at home. Many pets experience stress when they are placed in an unknown environment. Furthermore, this increases the chances that your dog may acquire some infectious disease from other animals. Having a professional pet sitter come to your home is always the best choice for your best friend

What Happens When There Is Inclement Weather?

During inclement weather, schedules may be slightly altered in order to give each client the best possible service. Rain or shine, We will guarantee that your pet gets the proper care, attention and exercise they need to be healthy.

Are you trained for cases of emergency?

Yes! We are trained and certified with Pet First Aid by the American Red Cross. Furthermore, we keep your pet’s detailed information on hand in case of any emergency during a visit. We will always carry your contact information as well as your primary veterinary information in case of an emergency.

Policies

Temperament and behavior

Safety of your pet and home is our Goal. The temperament of your pet will be evaluated at the initial consultation. This will help us determine behavior, habits, and play styles your friend needs.
Please inform us if you have any doubts about your pet’s ability to interact with new people in an unthreading manner

vaccinations

Pets using our service will need to be fully vaccinated.

We also recommend for your pet to be spayed and neutered.

Holiday & Weekend Policy

All services scheduled on Major Holidays are subject to an additional charge.

Cancellations

A 48-hour notice for all NON-HOLIDAY cancellations is required. There is no refund for service that is canceled same day.
During the Holidays, All cancellations must be made at least one week prior to scheduled service. No refunds will be given for service during the Holiday period after the job has been started

Payment

Payment is due in full prior to, or at the time of the first visit.
